On August 20, 2026, Pinheiro Guimarães held the second edition of Entre Elas: Dialogues on the Brazilian Tax Reform at its São Paulo office, bringing together women tax practitioners to discuss the main challenges related to the implementation of Brazil’s new consumption tax system.

The program was led by partner Larissa Taveira and associates Maria Gabriela Paes and Júlia de Oliveira Barreto, from the São Paulo office, with the participation of partner Daniela Fassheber and associate Carolina Nobre, from the Rio de Janeiro office.

Throughout the event, the discussions addressed key topics for companies preparing for 2027, including the use of PIS and Cofins credit balances, the impacts of IBS and CBS on cost-sharing arrangements, the adaptation of contracts, and the outlook for tax litigation under the new system.

The event also featured the special participation of Professor Tatiana de Aguiar, who holds a Ph.D. in Tax Law from PUC/SP and teaches at FGV and IDP. She shared insights on tax justice, gender equity, and sustainability in the context of the Brazilian Tax Reform.
