Marco Aurélio Rangel, an associate in the Strategic Litigation and Dispute Prevention practice at Pinheiro Guimarães, took part in the Bionexo Tasy Summit 2026, held on October 21 and 22, 2026, in São Paulo.

Speaking on the Main Stage, Marco Aurélio Rangel delivered the talk “Preventing Risk: Who Is Accountable When AI Doesn’t Perform as Expected and Lacks Oversight?”, which addressed accountability, oversight and the limits of artificial intelligence in healthcare decision-making.

The summit also featured discussions on AI governance and regulation, patient safety, cybersecurity, and the profile of healthcare professionals in the age of AI.
