Transaction advised by Pinheiro Guimarães shortlisted for Deal of the Year: Finance at the Legal 500 Chile Awards 2026.
The financing for a project of the Chile based group Arauco (Sucuriú Project), advised by Pinheiro Guimarães, has been shortlisted for Deal of the Year: Finance at the Legal 500 Chile Awards 2026.
The transaction involved two credit facilities totaling US$ 2.1 billion, granted by IFC, IDB Invest, Finnvera plc and a syndicate of international banks to finance the construction, development and operation of the Sucuriú pulp mill.
In the transaction, Pinheiro Guimarães acted as Brazilian Counsel to the lenders.
