The restructuring of Samarco Mineração, transaction in which Pinheiro Guimarães participated, was awarded as “Deal of the Year” at The Legal 500 Brazil Awards 2025. One of the largest restructurings in Brazil’s history, the restructuring of Samarco Mineração’s debt involved a diverse group of stakeholders and was a landmark in the Brazilian market since the enactment of the new bankruptcy law in 2021.
